Original Wwii Army

This vintage 1940's US Army military pile field parka liner jacket is a rare find for collectors of militaria. Made in the United States during World War II (1939-45), this original piece of uniform is in excellent condition and perfect for display or adding to a collection. The jacket is a size medium and features a pile lining and a hood with fur trim. The theme of this item is perfect for history buffs who enjoy collecting unique wartime artifacts.   

First issued during the Winter of 1943-44 to select troops fighting in Italy, this outfit was finally issued in the ETO starting in September, 1943, and to replacements being equipped in the United States. The uniform became common place by December and prevalent by early Spring 1945. This jacket and trouser is the clothing given to all soldiers except paratroopers. ORIGINAL WWII US ARMY M1938 WOOL COMBAT FIELD TROUSERS. THIS LOOKS TO HAVE A PERIOD ALTERNATION AND THE WAIST AND LENGTH HAS BEEN TAKEN IN TOO.   

WWII US 3rd Army T Technician Fourth Grade Jacket Field Wool 1945 Size 36R.   

Pit to pit is roughly 20 inch, shoulder seem to waist is roughly 21 inch, top seem of the shoulder to cuff is 24 inch. Shows some wear/souling, overall in solid shape. Zipper is functional, not named inside. A few small moth nips to the inside wool lining.   

Found two WJ Jenkins both were pows and died in captivity, can't say it was the same. Jacket itself is in solid condition, the collar would need to be repaired. Zipper is in good working condition.

Really nice condition original US Army M43 field jacket, size 36R. Includes an original 17th Airborne patch with a repro Airborne tab. There are signs of where small chevrons had been sewn onto the sleeves in the past. This jacket is in excellent condition, as there seem to be no rips, tears, or stains on the jacket anywhere, and the color doesn't seem to be the least bit faded. However, the tag is illegible, much to my sadness. Armpit to Armpit - 20. Shoulder to shoulder - 18. Shoulder to cuff - 23. Collar to hem (overall length) - 29-1/4. I believe I can just barely make out a "36" ...
