   RARE Original WWII US Army 10th Armored Division TIGER PROFICIENCY Award Patch. Created by the commanding General of the 10th Armored Division in World War II to recognize selected soldiers in the Division who had demonstrated proficiency and who had completed a course that challenged them both physically and intellectually.    A very nice pre-war black leather case for the 6x30 Dienstglas binoculars. This example is very nicely marked with the Weimar style eagle proof marking, as well as the maker'Reinhold Adam, Mainz' and date of 1935. All of the stitching and front pull-tab remain completely intact. A great item to complete any pre-war 6x30 binocular which is missing a storage case!
