Original Wwii Army

For sale is a genuine pair of WWII U. Army russet brown leather Service Shoes (also known as Type II Service Shoes). These are the classic early-war cap toe style issued to American soldiers. Color: Rich russet brown leather with smooth grain-side finish. Style: Ankle-high lace-up with cap toe and brogue (perforated) detailing - correct for Type I/II early WWII production. Condition: Very Good+ for an 80+ year old pair. The leather is supple with nice patina, minimal creasing, and strong stitching. Soles show light to moderate wear but remain solid and fully intact. Based off of comparisons of the knitting, stitching, and buttons to other confirmed pieces, I believe this is a World War Two era example of the high neck sweater that was issued to United States military members. Unfortunately the label is gone and the only marking is a stamp of a number at the collar, which I was unable to find the meaning of. Items has many small holes as shown, which is common for wool pieces of this age, as well as some pilling at the armpits. Original size unknown, see measurements in photos.   

Of good old repairs and one loose small seam on the back side but otherwise a nice example. Chest pit to pit 21 inches.   

   This is a Genuine, LARGE sized, WWII US 5 button henley wool sweater dated January 1945. This sweater was new, unissued when I obtained it 20+ years ago. There is Very little wear. These sweaters did not hold up well as they were 100% wool-no synthetic blends back then. As a result, they get "pulls" readily. This item has three small pulls that can be readily sewn. Please see pictures for details. This item has been in a climate controlled non smoking environment since I obtained this item over 20 years ago. Used, WWII German original army (HEER) Veterinarian shoulderboards. These are for the rank of Oberst, and have a Carmine color base, Dull silver twist cord tops with two gold pips to each and the Veterinarian cypher also in gold. They are sew-in style left and right. Very nice and very rare. From Relics of the Reich. Your satisfaction is important to me. Many times, it's a mis-understanding that can be cleared up.   

ARMY SWEATERS, HIGH NECK Size LARGE. Notice : I can find 2-3 small knots on it, probably from the factory made. I can find marking and dated. This Sweters is approximately 80 years old, with a date of 1945, and is still in a Very Good condition. You can see that on the photo if you take a good look.

Zipper is missing the pull otherwise no missing teeth. One small separation on a seam check the pics, otherwise no holes or rips. No loss of the sheepskin collar or liner. Chest pit to pit 22 inches, probably a size 40.
