An original pair of WW2 USAAF issue A-6 flying boots made by Converse of future sneaker fame. The matches pair is in used condition. It has cloth tabs on both with the original GI owners laundry number sewn on to spec tags mostly obscuring the Converse name. The zippers are shot as seen in the pictures and the rubber is starting to harden. The boots have been modified to A-6A with the ankle straps but one boot is missing the top strap.    A very scarce original late-war example of the 6x30 Dienstglas , produced from speckled red/brown coloured Bakelite. This is a completely untouched set, and comes complete as it was issued with the correct model of leather neck strap & rubber ocular cover. The 99th division fought in Europe during world war two.
