Original WW2 German Army M40 Combat Helmet. The M40 was the second model used during the war, it featured molded vent holes and a rolled edge. The helmet is in overall good original condition however, there is some pitting but the helmet is solid. Some original paint can also be seen to the exterior of the helmet. It is mounted with a machine made blade that measures 30 1/2 inches in length which although is surface pitted, does remain healthy in its condition. The Sword wears a metal D-guard with a checkered wooden grip that has survived well and continues to wear good markings.
