   Original WWII A-2 leather flying jacket. Contracted to make 50000 on 18-5-1942. Leather is in good supple condition & has aged perfectly, in all the right places, with a nice patina. No holes, rips or tears. Lining is all there & in good condition for age. The patch is attributed to the 33rd Fighter Grp, 59th Fighter Squadron, (Golden pride). This is the real deal, probably worn, during WWII by a 59th Fighter Squadron, Mustang pilot, over the European or Pacific theatre or both. Amazing piece of history, speaks for itself.
