   This is the GUNTO actually used by the Japanese Army on the battlefield. It was used in battle, but it is in a beautiful state. TSUBA, SEPPA, HABAKI are also set.    This is an extremely nice and well made example of an Arsenal made Japanese Army Shin Gunto Officer's Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a beautiful grooved, arsenal machine made blade that measures 26 inches in length which has survived in superb original condition with only some minor surface blemishes. All the fittings and hilt wrapping also remain in nice clean condition reflecting just a tiny bit of light wear to the wrapping.
