   Original Rare WW2 US 8th Airforce Hand Painted Jerrycan 1943 Dated - Normandy. This is a really interesting item we haven't seen before. A local contact out ours picked up 2 of these during a house clearance. They were found in Carpiquet (West of Caen). This is 1943 dated, its hard to make out in the photos but its there.    WW2 ORIGINAL US ARMY D-DAY NORMANDY SOLDIER SLEEPING BAG. DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this WW2 original US Army D-Day Normandy soldier sleeping bag. These mummy type sleeping bags were issued to US soldiers in 1944. This particular bag was acquired from Belgium where it was found abandoned in the Ardennes by a farmer during WWII. It has been in his family ever since. This piece carries a lot of history with it as it was a witness of D-Day and who knows how many subsequent battles.
