This is an original poster from the estate of Ruth Von Euw, originally from the personal collection of her father, Stephen Von Euw, who had been the editor of the Rockville (CT) Journal from the 1930s until his death in 1955. During World War II, Von Euw had made sure that every local serviceman and servicewomen received free copies of the newspaper wherever they were posted. This is an old item dated to the WWII period, as such, you should expect wear commensurate with age and use, as pictured. There are fold marks at edges. Very nice original small size army boots US size 7-8 outer sole 11 1/4 inches long. It has some kind of toe caps, not steel caps but likely hardened leather caps which make it look quite nice. I believe this is original army boots for Non-commission Officiers, not post war reproduction markets from Russia. Because it is not in mint condition but good overall used condition still very wearable for re-enactment occasions. Leather is a bit stiff, need a good shine and wipe of dust from my crawlspace. Original WWII US Army HBT Herringbone Trousers Pants XXL 44x32.   

Zipper is missing the pull otherwise no missing teeth. One small separation on a seam check the pics, otherwise no holes or rips. No loss of the sheepskin collar or liner. Chest pit to pit 22 inches, probably a size 40.   

Nice all original WWII German 1L canteen with the original pollopas (Bakelite) cup. The back side shows some dirt and wear, but generally this is a very good looking canteen. There are also a few small holes in the backside of the cover, which appear to be from wood worm/beetles. The bottle is extremely clean and looks like it was probably never used. Ideal canteen for a mannequin. The strap is nice and the leather bottom is not torn, although I would not want to push it too far. Better to just leave it as it is. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven't figured it ...
