   Constructed of coarse weave tan cotton material with open collar configuration and all light brown plastic buttons present. The jacket features two upper pleated breast pockets and two large un pleated pockets at the hips with button down epaulets at the shoulders. Original late-WWII rear-seam Schlueter helmet, with Chaplain marking on the front. The marking is painted over a late-war dark repaint, on a sanded area, and has been worn down to the metal in spots. Remnants of another cross, but yellow, appear around it. The marking appears to be completely genuine, but in rough shape. Be sure to check out my other military items!    This is an authentic lot/grouping that comes from the estate of WWII U. Army Airborne veteran James E. Includes pins, patches, medals and more. Some of the items are attached to a piece of his tunic inside of a shadow box display behind glass and some of the items are not attached to the tunic as seen in the photos.
