Original Wwii Army

Nice all original WWII German 1L canteen with the original pollopas (Bakelite) cup. The back side shows some dirt and wear, but generally this is a very good looking canteen. There are also a few small holes in the backside of the cover, which appear to be from wood worm/beetles. The bottle is extremely clean and looks like it was probably never used. Ideal canteen for a mannequin. The strap is nice and the leather bottom is not torn, although I would not want to push it too far. Better to just leave it as it is. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven't figured it ...

   Original WW2 Plastic Economy Cap Badge. These plastic cap badges were introduced as a short-term wartime economy measure and, notably, it is said that they were often unpopular with soldiers and discarded in favour of the earlier metal versions. This is a completely untouched set, and comes complete as it was issued with the correct model of leather neck strap & rubber ocular cover.
