   Original Soviet WWII / WW2 Red Army Wartime Pilotka Side Cap Krasniy Voin. A well-worn wartime Soviet pilotka from the Red Warrior, or Krasniy Voin factory, based in Moscow. These caps were worn by the rank-and-file enlisted men of the Red Army throughout WWII, and they remain a symbol of the Soviet war effort during WWII. Original examples are quite hard to come by, even within Russia, due to the fact that many were completely worn through or recycled for fabric during the postwar material shortages.
