Wwii German Army Trinkwasser Can 10l Water Jug Original Wehrmacht 10 Liter Ww2

Original nice usable WWII German 10L Trinkwasser can. It is of the type which doesn't have markings on the lid, just the bottom marking - which is a bit too worn to really make out. It does show wear and age. There is a decent amount of the original paint left, enough to use it as is. It would be good to replace the gasket as it is a bit tight and crumbling. See photos for size and condition. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven't figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment.
