   It is a short gunto of leather saya. It is a type at the end of the war. At that time, it was not possible to use metal for saya due to lack of materials, so the wooden saya is covered with leather. The leather looks a little faded and lighter in color. There are some scratches, but it's acceptable. The metal fittings should have a cherry blossom pattern, but this item does not have it. I presume that it was made by a simple manufacturing method.
