   Vintage, Type D-12 Aperiodic navigational compass. Used in many US WWII aircraft heavy bombers, medium bombers, and transports. This compass does not have a Bendix Aviation Corp. However, it is embossed stamped on the base "BX 59", and marked in white "R 15", and with a "v" inside of an "0". Measures 7"Diameter X slightly over 4"H. It is mounted with a machine made blade that measures 30 1/2 inches in length which although is surface pitted, does remain healthy in its condition. The Sword wears a metal D-guard with a checkered wooden grip that has survived well and continues to wear good markings. The mis-matched scabbard is a bit stained with only tiny ding, nevertheless remains in good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 37 inches in length.    Russo-Japanese M1899 Type 32 Army NCO Sword & Scabbard Matching #s WW1 & WW2. Army NCO Sword & Scabbard. 37 overall with scabbard 939mm. The Type 32 (Model 1899) had a machined blade and was manufactured at the Tokyo Hohei Kosho Arsenal. The sword saw service during the Russo-Japanese War, World War One and on into World War Two.    The Pilot's jacket is a B-5A type of flight jacket. There is an Army Air Forces logo with the Winged Star on one of the shoulders of the jacket. The "Army Air Force" changed to "Army Air Forces" in 1943. This is a 1943 to 1945 era markings with the plural "Forces". It is old and in Used Condition, with wear damage from use. There is damage to the knitted cuffs and other parts of the jacket. There is sun fading, dirt stains, scratches, paint loss, and oxidation to the metal parts.
