Original WWII US Army Air Corp Officer Ike Named Bullion 15th Div Patch. In excellent condition, theatre made 15th army air Corp patch, named pilot served in Africa and Italy. Tag size 40s, dated 1942.   

Wwii Us Army Wool Service Jacket, 4th Armored Division, 15th Cavalry Regiment

   The uniform is wrinkled and dirty. I was afraid that if I washed or dry cleaned the uniform that it was cause further damage considering the small moth holes in the wool. The combat patch from the 4th Armored Division but the insignia on the cover is from the 15th Cavalry Regiment. Both served in WW2 and in similar areas and engagements. I think the soldier may have been transferred from one unit to the other. Wwii Us Army 15th Air Force Pilot Uniform 97th Bomb Group Medal Unit History Wia

   Howard Keith Burney who was a B17 bomber pilot in late WWII with the 97th Bomb Group. The sale was here in Lincoln, but the history I have on the vet shows that he was from Harington NE and served in the USAAF from Feb 8, 1944 - May 18, 1947. According to the pages he marked in the unit history (Pg 210-224) he flew 19 missions before he was injured on Feb. 27, 1945 by flak that shattered the plexiglass windshield of his aircraft. The unit history describes the mission where he received his wounds, but I was not able to find a mission for the SS medal. According to this hero's ...
