   Original WWII A-2 leather flying jacket. Contracted to make 50000 on 18-5-1942. Leather is in good supple condition & has aged perfectly, in all the right places, with a nice patina. No holes, rips or tears. Lining is all there & in good condition for age. The patch is attributed to the 33rd Fighter Grp, 59th Fighter Squadron, (Golden pride). Original WWII M-41 US Jacket, type worn by US soldiers storming the beaches of Normandy on d-day. All original with name written in lining. Shows heavy wear but has all original buttons and zipper. This jacket is one of the nicest examples ive come across, with 2 Tech 5th Class ranking patches and a Unit I Corps Insignia all originally applied. This is a period used piece during the Pacific campaign and most likely the invasion of New Guinea or the Philippines! The jacket has four pockets total. It has no liner and is in used condition.
