   Jacket is post WW2 but metals are WW2 and Korean. This soldier would have served in the Ninth Army according to the shoulder patch. Among the ribbons and pins there is a Sterling Silver (marked) Infantry Regiment pin. There is a 3 star ribbon for European, African & Middle Eastern campaign service. He served in Korea and there is a bronze oak leaf among many other ribbons. Jacket is in really good condition with the exception of a small moth hole below one front pocket and a small hole in the interior of the jacket (see photos).    Has a wool blend feel to it. The tag is very hard to read due to the age but you can definitely see 1940s in it. Im pretty sure it says wool as well.    Original WWII women's Cadet Nurse summer uniform jacket. Cadet nurse patch on one sleeve. The buttons show wear and discoloration. There are some light brown/ yellow stains and a black speck above one pocket. The shoulder epaulets look handmade. The underside of the epaulets is a slightly different color than the rest of the jacket. The size tag is completely washed out. This has not been laundered (if you decide to clean it, make sure to remove the buttons or they will rust and stain the jacket; the epaulets make also color bleed).
