   Jacket is post WW2 but metals are WW2 and Korean. This soldier would have served in the Ninth Army according to the shoulder patch. Among the ribbons and pins there is a Sterling Silver (marked) Infantry Regiment pin. There is a 3 star ribbon for European, African & Middle Eastern campaign service. He served in Korea and there is a bronze oak leaf among many other ribbons. Jacket is in really good condition with the exception of a small moth hole below one front pocket and a small hole in the interior of the jacket (see photos).    Available today is what I believe to be an original WWII era Japanese Army canvas field cap with a beautiful yellow embroidered star patch. The cap is in tremendous condition with a flexible leather sweatband and excellent ink stamps on the liner. It even retains much of the enamel on the small grommets.    Scarce WW2 Italian Army Model 1942 paratrooper steel helmet. Good blue green paint finish overall, with some areas of chipping overall, retaining majority of the enamel finish. 4 rivet type liner fixing points present, which hold the blue green finished leather chinstrap harness, which retains metal buckle point. Inner liner shows the 8 sectioned leather liner, tapering to the central liner fixing point, with star shaped sized 57 label present.    Original WWII women's Cadet Nurse summer uniform jacket. Cadet nurse patch on one sleeve. The buttons show wear and discoloration. There are some light brown/ yellow stains and a black speck above one pocket. The shoulder epaulets look handmade. The underside of the epaulets is a slightly different color than the rest of the jacket. The size tag is completely washed out.
