   Original WW2 Plastic Economy Cap Badge. These plastic cap badges were introduced as a short-term wartime economy measure and, notably, it is said that they were often unpopular with soldiers and discarded in favour of the earlier metal versions.    Inseam Length: 31 Looks awesome! Considering their original purpose, these are exceptional, literally no holes anywhere. No missing buttons, although some have obviously been replaced. The fly has an older cats eye style button, the cargo pockets have a catseye and then the other has a bit bigger old beveled edge button, and the rest of the buttons hidden in the front button fly closure are all older metal donut hole style buttons with inset centers.
