Japanese Army Officers Leather Backpack. It has dents, scuffs, scratches, or stains from storage. The fabric on the sides is torn. Leather is in good condition for its age. Size:30 x 23.5 cm. WWII Swiss Army M1918 Helmet. 1943 all Helmets, Canteens and Mess Kits were withdrawn and overpainted grey / black because they were shining in the moonlight when wet. Helmets were overpainted with a mixture of sawdust and black paint. The black painting is coming off now and you can see the original green paint underneath. This vintage US Army WW2 dress jacket was my dad's. He was born in 1921 and died in 1983 and fought in combat in Japan in the mid-1940s. Unfortunately, I don't have much additional information about his rank, etc. But I do have his photos, medals, handbooks, and other patches. Pre-War 1930s early 1940s US Army Service Shoes. Came with a large prewar and early WWII grouping officer grouping. Marked on the bottom of the sole 8 ½ B and on the inside of the sole 8 ½ B.
