Wwii Us Army Class A Dress Jacket 38r 5th Army Air Force Staff Sergeant Named

The WWII US Army Class A Dress Jacket is a rare and authentic piece of militaria collectible from the United States, specifically named after a staff Sergeant in the 5th Army Air Force. This jacked is named and the only problem that I see is the moth hole at the eppilet. This original period item showcases the history and significance of the World War II era, making it a valuable addition to any collection or display related to military uniforms. It does show some moth tracking/holes on the left sleeve cuff.

It fits a little larger- more like a size 36 or even 38, which is a smaller medium. Shoulder to Shoulder: 19.5.

Interior shows an original size tag marked 36L, a desirable smaller size that is increasingly difficult to find and preferred by collectors and ...

Post Wwii Us Army Ike Jacket 2nd Armored Division 1946 Excellent Condition

Army 2nd Armored Division "Ike" Waist Jacket is in incredible condition. I thought because of the condition was a much later era or a replica... But it is a 1946 issue jacket, so this would have been issued after the end of the war most likely to occupation troops, or as a replacement jacket to a veteran. In the inside pocket there was an original field cap, collar discs, and a photograph of what is most likely the sergeant who was issued this gear. I cannot verify this, but all items were found in the pockets of this jacket, but no way to follow up, investigate orverify ...

Rank insignia: Crown with two Bath stars (Colonel), present on both shoulders. Regimental insignia: The Green Howards. War Medal 1939-45 with oak leaf (Mentioned in Despatches). The tailor's label bears a handwritten officer's name; however, it is now too faint to confidently read. The name remains present and may be decipherable by a dedicated researcher. Interior lining remains intact with expected age-related wear. No significant seam separation or lining ...
