Love the look of this jacket. Has great wear and tear, and the stains add to the look. No tag, but would fit like a medium. Pit to pit is 22 inches. Length is 26.5 inches in the front and 28 inches in the back. Shoulder width is 19 inches. Sleeve length is 23 inches. Inside there is a laundry mark, and you will be able to further identify the solider through research.   

Original World War II U. Army Herringbone Twill (HBT) jacket in size 40R. Manufactured by The Powers MFG Co. Under a 1944 dated contract P. 22873, dated May 4, 1944, with pattern date of July 15, 1943. This field shirt features classic OD7 herringbone twill fabric with stamped markings still visible inside. Button front closure, dual chest pockets, and all original buttons intact. Has one small hole (see picture). Vintage ORIGINAL uniform as shown. No names or ID marks, and back has a lot of moth holes. Ribbons are sewn on and one star is pinback unmarked, the other missing. The piece is vintage and therefore may show signs of age, wear, or patina. At that time, an unpaid item case will automatically be opened. It will be left, but please be patient. Does have some rust stains on the inside, most likely from the hanger it was hanging on. Ribbons - Good Conduct, Bronze Star, American Campaign ETO Ribbon (3 Stars) Victory Medal.
