Original Wwii Army

   Trousers are in great shape for their age. Pretty clean with relatively light wear. A couple tiny snags near the cuffs but no insect damage which is very rare. Elastic stirrups have been removed but a really fine example here of the early wool ski trousers used by mountain troops. Measure 32" at the waist, 29" on the inseam, and 14 on the front rise.    This is an ORIGINAL pair of WWII U. Army mountain trousers in excellent condition. The WW2 uniform reference refers to this as M1942 Type II Mountain Trousers. They were probably issued to soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division but any soldier would have readily traded for these well made trousers. They feature sturdy OD cotton/ sateen windproof material with side buttoned cargo pockets and tapered cuffs with black elastic ankle tapes. It has angled front zippers and flapped rear pockets.    Up for sale today is an Original Pair of WWII U. Army Mountain/Ski Boots, Type 4. These boots are marked 5 1/2 on the inside, but they are an actual size 8 1/2. I wear a size 9 boot, and these fit me perfectly with one pair of thick wool socks on. Troopers generally wore 2 pairs of wool socks. These boots measure exactly 12 inches long from toe to heel. They measure 4 1/4 inches at their widest point. These mountain/ski boots are still in excellent vintage condition.
