   Scarce US Army 10th Mountain Division ski trooper backpack jacket circa 1942. Harness system, belt and backpack all present. Tag is mostly washed out.    Up for sale today is an Original Pair of WWII U. Army Mountain/Ski Boots, Type 4. These boots are marked 5 1/2 on the inside, but they are an actual size 8 1/2. I wear a size 9 boot, and these fit me perfectly with one pair of thick wool socks on. Troopers generally wore 2 pairs of wool socks. These boots measure exactly 12 inches long from toe to heel. They measure 4 1/4 inches at their widest point. These mountain/ski boots are still in excellent vintage condition.
