Fresh out of a military collectors estate. Appears they were not worn more than a few times. These are marked size 6D. The exterior measurement is length 11 inches. Widest part 4 inches and heel width is 2 3/4 inches.

This vintage 1940's US Army military pile field parka liner jacket is a rare find for collectors of militaria. Made in the United States during World War II (1939-45), this original piece of uniform is in excellent condition and perfect for display or adding to a collection. First issued during the Winter of 1943-44 to select troops fighting in Italy, this outfit was finally issued in the ETO starting in September, 1943, and to replacements being equipped in the United States. The uniform became common place by December and prevalent by early Spring 1945. This jacket and trouser is the clothing given to all soldiers except paratroopers.    Stamped with the ink stamps on the liner, but uclear. It has original war period buttons & infantry unit field shoulder straps. This padded jacket has own history - it's from veteran's family. Owner was a signalman and. Was drafted into the Red Army on the liberated region after Stalingrad's battle in 1943. He fighted till the victory in 1945 and. After demobilized and came home in that jacket. It has a lot of traces of period repairing, at least 8 patches on the places where it was torned by the bullets or schrapnel. Huge Size Original WW2 U. Size is between a 46-48 Regular. Well used but very good condition. Typical moth spots on the cuffs. Hard to find in this large size.
