   Up for sale today is an Original Pair of WWII U. Army Mountain/Ski Boots, Type 4. These boots are marked 5 1/2 on the inside, but they are an actual size 8 1/2. I wear a size 9 boot, and these fit me perfectly with one pair of thick wool socks on. Troopers generally wore 2 pairs of wool socks. These boots measure exactly 12 inches long from toe to heel. They measure 4 1/4 inches at their widest point. These mountain/ski boots are still in excellent vintage condition. Since there were many leftover German helmet shells after WW2 the Czech government took these helmet and repainted them black (the color for civil defense) and replaces the liner if needed.
