   This is an original German army WW2 helmet shell that was refurbished by the Czech government after the war for civil defense. Since there were many leftover German helmet shells after WW2 the Czech government took these helmet and repainted them black (the color for civil defense) and replaces the liner if needed. Original WW2 US Army Air Corps A-2 Leather Jacket Size 40R MFG Aero Leather. Has name and squadron patch removed. Needs to be restitched around left collar and around right pocket. Has Talon zipper (might be a replacement). There is no other damage to the leather. There is wear around collar that is normal for such an old jacket.
