This jacket came from the estate of a US Army WWII ETO quartermaster, we will be listing additional items throughout the next few months.    This is an original type 98 uniform tunic for Imperial Japanese Army officer in WW2. The listing does NOT include the infantry breast insignia and collar tabs that are only for the purpose of display as shown in the first picture. There are signs of natural aging for a vintage article of more than 75 years, but its still in excellent condition overall. The inner collar is clean and looks not much used, as well as the sleeve cuffs. There is rising-sun quilting that is typical for an officer tunic on the lining.
