Big collection of 30 vintage military patches. These are from a family member's. Estate who was a collector of World war II memorabilia. Most likely these patches were from World war II. It is also possible that some of the patches are from other conflicts. I do not specialize in militaria and cannot guarantee which conflict these patches came from.    This is a personal relic set belonging to Second Lieutenant Shozo Sone, an Imperial Japanese Army officer who was killed in action at Guadalcanal (Miharudai) during the Pacific War. The wooden stock-shaped memorial piece carries hand-written inscriptions. "Guadalcanal Island - Oni-sho (, "Demon Officer")". "Military Academy / Officer School commendations".
