   Original WWII A-2 leather flying jacket. Contracted to make 50000 on 18-5-1942. Leather is in good supple condition & has aged perfectly, in all the right places, with a nice patina. No holes, rips or tears. Lining is all there & in good condition for age. The patch is attributed to the 33rd Fighter Grp, 59th Fighter Squadron, (Golden pride).    Original WWII US Army Air Corps AAF D-2 Mechanic's Winter Parka and Liner. Air Force parka models D-1 and D-2 were developed in 1943 for mechanics and service personnel who had to work outdoors on the flight line for long periods of time in cold weather.
