US Army 473rd Infantry Regiment was created very late in WW2, fighting in the Italian campaign from January 1945. Medals court mounted for display with basic research paperwork. John Gordon Laing enlisted in the British Army 11/1/1937 and served with the Royal West Surry Regiment.
