US Army 473rd Infantry Regiment was created very late in WW2, fighting in the Italian campaign from January 1945.    Group includes 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45 & 1902-56 Africa General Service Medal impressed named to CAPT. Medals court mounted for display with basic research paperwork. John Gordon Laing enlisted in the British Army 11/1/1937 and served with the Royal West Surry Regiment.
