Original Wwii Army

Here is an estate find of personal soldier correspondence from WWII era. There looks to be over 100 pieces. From what I can see it looks like the bulk is to and from home to his parents. There are some to others as well. The years are largely confined to 1943 and 1945 with some outliers. Some photos and other items. Looks like an army solddier that started as a private and ended up a corporal. Original WWII US Army Air Corps 3 Bombardier Wings pin made of 925 sterling silver. It is a Militaria item that was manufactured in the United States during the WW II conflict. The wings are an original period item and are in good condition.

Name tape looks more 50's to me. Interesting style, plastic buttons, kind of an off white color but just could be super faded. Belt appears shorted/cut a bit and only works if you are really tightening it. Ghosting of a US Army patch on chest and an armored division patch on sleeve. Did note a few loose seams and rip on rear pocket - lots of paint stains as mentioned. 1 cuff button is chipped.
