This is an original historical artifact from the Second World War era, and therefore shows natural wear and tear resulting from age and regular use during the period. What you see in the pictures is actual item you will get. (obviously except the mannequin and accessories for display). If you are a collector of military items or a WWII history enthusiast, it's worth checking out my other listings for original military pieces and period antiques! Mistakes very rarely occur - however if one does please rest assured that it will be corrected.   

Oversized to be worn over various layers of clothes. Has been cut open in the front and has a small hole. Please view photos for better idea of condition. First run Parka Field Pile Liner before it had the added neck zipper. A vintage brass Talon zipper is included for free if you wish to piece it back together as many surviving examples seem to have been tailored. Measurements are taken laying flat and approximate and as follows. Pit to pit: 29.5 inches. Shoulder to shoulder: 19.5 inches.

WW2 US Army 2nd Engineers (Combat) this is a nice one from my collection. Look at all the pictures, Clean no mothing issues I see, Pants are size W31 x 35L. Early 1940 dated jacket, pants are late WW2. Nice insiginia, screwback distictive insigina. Jacket has early rear belt hooks. Looks to be issued a few times. Read the history of the battalion. He has four battle stars. No history on the previous owner. Fifty years ago collectors didnt ask? There were a few Belgian orders as well. One for Elsenborn Ridge, and the Ardennes. A true historical piece from World War II: this coat is made of wool and was used by U. Army officers during World War II. It features the classic olive drab (OD Green) color and has a red star patch on the side shoulder. Only one button is broken on the front of the jacket, on the last button. It's easy to get and fix. The dimensions can be seen in the photo; please review them to confirm the measurements.
