Vintage 1940s US Army M-1943 Field Jacket Size 34R WWII Era M-43.

Vintage ORIGINAL uniform as shown. No names or ID marks, and back has a lot of moth holes. Ribbons are sewn on and one star is pinback unmarked, the other missing. The piece is vintage and therefore may show signs of age, wear, or patina. At that time, an unpaid item case will automatically be opened. It will be left, but please be patient. World War II US Army 2nd Infantry Division grouping. JACKET size 34S in good shape - looks like minor stitching repair to collar- see last photo. Does have some rust stains on the inside, most likely from the hanger it was hanging on. Ribbons - Good Conduct, Bronze Star, American Campaign ETO Ribbon (3 Stars) Victory Medal. Army M-1943 Field Jacket, size 34R, dated April 17, 1944. Manufactured by Marshall Sportwear, Inc. Olive drab cotton poplin shell with interior instruction label. Features four front pockets, button cuffs, epaulets, and adjustable waist drawstring. Classic windproof design intended to be worn over a pile jacket. Shows light wear consistent with age-overall excellent condition for its era. A rare and collectible piece of original WWII military history.

This is a genuine World War II era U. Army Ike jacket in excellent vintage condition. The uniform features original insignia and patches including. 8th Air Force patch (right shoulder). Army Service Forces patch (left shoulder). Technical Sergeant rank chevrons on both sleeves. Honorable Discharge "Ruptured Duck" patch over right pocket. Service stripes on the lower sleeve. WWII campaign ribbon bar with multiple decorations. Size: Marked 37L (appears accurate based on cut). The wool is in very good shape with minimal moth wear, no tears or major stains.
