This is an original poster from the estate of Ruth Von Euw, originally from the personal collection of her father, Stephen Von Euw, who had been the editor of the Rockville (CT) Journal from the 1930s until his death in 1955. During World War II, Von Euw had made sure that every local serviceman and servicewomen received free copies of the newspaper wherever they were posted. Original WWII Swiss Army Mountain Hobnail Boots shoes from 1950. Size: 27,5 (which means 27,5 cm size of the feet), this equals size US 10 or EUR 43. The boots are in very good original condition - leather also smooth and well maintained - beautiful pieces (see pictures). Made in usuall swiss perfection. With shoelaces and original swiss army shoe bag. Made and marked on the leather and on the nails by the swiss saddler. These boots were made by the army in 3 different types of widths (5 = Standard / 6 = width / 7 = extra width) - this on Standard width.
